Garden Apartment Complex Fire, Valley Street
MAPLEWOOD, NJ - A multiple-alarm fire at 747 Valley Street damaged an apartment on the lower level
of the south building, and caused a heavy smoke condition throughout the building
Two victims were removed from the building by firefighters. Both were transported to St Barnabas Medical Center by EMS for smoke inhalation.
Two firefighters were treated at the scene for minor injuries. One with smoke inhalation and the other with heat exhaustion.
