UPDATE: Police Seek the Public’s Help in Locating Missing 11-Year Old Girl
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose requests the public’s help in locating Damitra Smith, 11, of Newark, who was reported missing today from the South Ward.
Damitra is 5’3” tall and 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing pink pants, a red jacket, and blue sneakers.
While police are actively searching for Damitra, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating her so she can be returned to her family.
Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Damitra Smith to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS. All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
