Crane Truck Overturns on the Garden State Parkway Killing the Driver in Clark

UPDATE: 2:45 p.m. The driver of the crane is reported to have died.

CLARK, NJ - A crane truck overturned on the Garden State Parkway North milepost 134.8, near the Lake Avenue bridge, Severely Injuring the driver. Emergency personnel performed CPR on him, and he was then transported to an area hospital in serious condition. The crane is owned by Sanzari Corporation.

NJ State Police officials are investigating a crash that killed, A NJ man Thursday morning.

According to Sgt. Alejandro Goez, a Freightliner M2 truck traveling northbound, overturned on the Garden State Parkway near mile marker 134.8.

As a result, Sgt. Alejandro Goez said the driver, Mr. Scott Stadnik, 49, of Flemington, NJ, was partially ejected and sustained fatal injuries.

The passenger, a 41-year-old male, did not sustain injuries.

no other vehicles were involved.
