Serious Head-On Crash, Route 22 East Closed in Mountainside

Mountainside NJ – Route 22 Eastbound was closed from Mill Lane to Glen Road, Due to a serious head-on crash, and accident investigation, it was reported that one of the vehicles was traveling the wrong way on the eastbound side of the highway around 9:12 a.m. and caused the collision, firefighters had to extricate at least one person from the wreckage, all lanes of the highway were re-opened around 11:45 a.m.
